Passed away on September 13, 2007
James Allen Langston, 60, passed away quietly in his sleep Thursday, September 13, 2007. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia, son of Frances Elsberry Langston and the late James Arthur Langston. He lived all over the United States and Puerto Rico while his father was in the United States Air Force. He met and married Regina Chapman in 1970 in Savannah, Georgia and they had three children. He was a retiree of Gulfstream Aerospace and currently worked for DS2 at Hunter Army Airfield. He was a member of many organizations including, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus, Eucharistic Minister of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Major in the Georgia State Defense Force, Friendly Sons of Ireland, Catholic War Veterans, American Legion and more. He enjoyed spending time with his family and many friends, traveling, reading and playing with his two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his father, wife, Regina and son, James Mark.
Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Pam and John Kullman of Savannah; son, Keith Langston and his girlfriend, Cara of Atlanta; mother, Fran Langston of Savannah; granddaughters, Jenna Kullman age 5 and Kelly Kullman age 1 both of Savannah; mother-in-law, Helen Chapman of Savannah; special friend, Carole Anthony of Savannah; sisters, Nancy Bob Blessum of Greer, SC; Susan Dave Geoffrion of Atlanta, GA; Connie Langston of Atlanta, GA; brother, Steve Patricia Langston of Savannah and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 17, 2007 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with a Rosary Service at 6:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 18, 2007 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with The Reverend Douglas Clark, Celebrant.
Burial: Catholic Cemetery.

Hello all, I am an old friend of Al's he and I worked together at GAC for a long time, he was a very big part of my life in QC, he was someone I always went to for help and advice, he was some one I trusted and admired, he was a great man and a great friend.
